Anyiah Mae Small, age 12 of Wyaconda, Missouri, passed away Friday, January 1, 2021 at her home.
Anyiah was born in Des Moines, Iowa, on October 1, 2008, the daughter of Annie Mae (Clark) Small and Richard Lee Small II.
Anyiah was her own person, and loved expressing it. She was very outgoing, and would wear any shade of makeup that was put in front of her, even the bold blue eye shadow and bright red lipstick. She loved everything about Art, and was very creative. She also enjoyed fishing with her siblings, family and friends. One of the most important parts of Anyiah’s life was her little sister. She was always looking out for her, and cared for her deeply.
Left to cherish Anyiah’s memory are her parents, Annie Mae Small of Wyaconda, Missouri, and Richard Lee Small II (fiancé, Shanya) of Milton, Iowa; siblings, Keegan Shipman, Makeenan Clark, Leira Small, Riley Knisley, Alyssa Burgess, and Richard William Small II; Grandparents, Richard W. Small (fiancé, Anita Cullor) of Milton, Iowa, Mary (Joe) Vinole of Milton, Iowa, Lilly Clark, and Edward Michael Lidford; great grandparents, Richard (Mary Ellen) Small, Jacque (Ellen) Fields, and Sandra Lidford; great uncles and aunts, David Lee Small (Marla), Mamie Armstrong, Anthony Adkisson, and Terry Clark; as well as several loving Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, and many others whom will miss Anyiah dearly.
Anyiah was preceded in death by her cousin, Remmington Rogers, her grandpa, Delbert Large; and two great grandmothers, Fern Gudheus and Barbara Wermy.
At this time cremation has been accorded, with a Celebration of Life service being held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials have been established to Annie Mae Small, to be determined at a later date, and may be mailed to Lange Funeral Home and Crematory, C/O Small family, 1900 South 18th Street, Centerville, Iowa 52544.
