Brenda Lin Sieren, 49, of Ottumwa, died at 7:00 a.m. March 25, 2021 at her home.
She was born December 19, 1971 in Washington, IA to Raymond and Linda Teno Weber. She married Tim Sieren September 10, 1994 at St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in rural Clear Creek, IA.
A 1990 graduate of Keota High School, Brenda received her associate of arts degree from Indian Hills Community College in 1991.
Brenda had worked for the Ottumwa Chamber of Commerce and was the program coordinator for Greater Ottumwa Partners in Progress for 16 years.
She was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church and the Ottumwa Noon Lions Club. She enjoyed video games, reading, puzzle books and baking. Brenda loved spending time with her husband taking day trips.
Surviving is her husband, Tim; siblings, Bryan (Stacie) Weber of Oskaloosa, Becky (Chris) Beck of Oskaloosa and Brent (Betty) Weber of Wellman; 7 nieces; 5 nephews; a great-niece; and her father, Raymond Weber of Oskaloosa.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Linda; and her grandparents, Raymond N. and Bessie Weber and Joe and Lee Teno.
Open visitation for friends will be 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday, March 30th at Reece Funeral Home The family will be present to greet friends from 3:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, followed by a Christian Wake Service at 6 p.m. For those unable to attend, you may watch the Christian Wake service live on the Reece Funeral Home Facebook page.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 31st at St. Patrick Catholic Church with Father Patrick Hilgendorf presiding. For those unable to attend, you may watch the service live on the Reece Funeral Home Facebook page. Burial will be in Shaul Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
