Betty Beatrice Peck, 92, of Ottumwa, died at 7:45 p.m. April 19, 2021 at Vista Woods Care Center.
She was born July 27, 1928 in Hiteman, IA to Ollie and Charlotte Carlo Seddon. Betty married Elmer Peck on January 30, 1948 and he preceded her in death on May 9, 1970.
Growing up in Ottumwa, Betty had worked for 26 years at John Morrell & Co. and for 11 years at John Deere Ottumwa Works.
She was a member of O.B. Nelson Unit #3 American Legion Auxiliary.
Betty enjoyed traveling to Las Vegas, playing cards, Bingo, fishing and hunting morel mushrooms. She enjoyed her family and friends, especially her grandson.
Surviving is her son, Robert (Connie) Peck of Ottumwa; and grandson, Cody (Samantha) Peck of Boone.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Donald Seddon and her companion of 20 years, Frank Comstock.
The family will greet friends from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Friday, April 23rd, at Reece Funeral Home.
Graveside services and burial will be 11 a.m. Friday, April 23rd, at Memorial Lawn Cemetery with Pastor Mark Clark officiating.
Memorials may be made to Vista Woods Activity Fund.
