Joan Eloise Critchlow, 90 of Ottumwa died at 12:44 p.m. April 6, 2025 at Vista Woods Care Center.
She was born October 7, 1934 in Ottumwa to Wayne Edward and Genevieve Minear Anderson. Joan married Clark Edward Critchlow September 4, 1953 and he preceded her in death November 26, 2011.
She loved cardinals and enjoyed collecting bells and Hummel Figurines.
Joan was a member of St. Mary of the Visitation.
Surviving are her children, Ann Marie Duncan of Belle Air, MD, Christine Lynn Critchlow of Tacoma, WA, Julie Ann (Doug) Schuck of Ottumwa and Steven (Gina) Critchlow of Carlisle; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; daughters, Cathy Sue Duncan and Michelle Critchlow; and a son, Michael Critchlow.
Her body has been cremated and no services are planned at this time.
Memorials may be made to Heartland Humane Society.
