Anita Michelle Church, 70 of Ottumwa died at 8:10 a.m. April 22, 2025 at her home.
She was born February 20, 1955 in Ottumwa to Leard “Wesley” and Violet “Pearl” Toopes Church.
Michelle had been an insurance agent for AAA Insurance. She enjoyed sewing, gardening and yard work.
Surviving are her children, Eric Jones, Amber Jones, Kylene Ewing and Sam Quijano; 9 grandchildren, Chelsa Jones, Trenton Jones, Zach Jones, Jaydon Jones, Seamus Lamb, Aiden Denniston, Landen Quijano, Rush Quijano and Carson Chestnut; a great-grandson, Jettson Jones; and siblings, Richard (Anne) Denniston, Jim (Ann) Denniston and Judie (William) Miller.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, William Denniston Jr. and John Denniston; and a sister, Hazel Countryman.
Her body has been cremated.
Graveside memorial services will be held at a later date.
