Mary Diane Kinnamon passed away on April 15, 2025 in Rochester, Minnesota.
She was born in Elma on December 27, 1942 to Monica Rose Kinnamon and Verbal “Verge” Kinnamon.
She attended Immaculate Conception Schools in Elma and graduated from High School there in the class of 1960. Upon graduation from High School, she attended Hamilton Business School in Mason City for training in secretarial work. She worked in many secretarial and office jobs throughout her career including the National Education Association in Washington, DC, Dorsey Law Firm in Minneapolis, Doral Beach Hotel, Miami, Fla., Mayo Clinic Orthopedics, Rochester, Minn., Iowa Department of Human Services where she worked for over 10 years and the North Iowa Eye Clinic both in Mason City and the Behnke Floral Nurseries in Beltsville, Md., in data entry.
She has enjoyed living at High Pointe Senior Community in Rochester, Minn., since 2006 until her recent illness and passing. She was a wonderful person who loved life, family, and friends who would always think about people she knew and cherished the memory of those who had passed. Her son Rob enjoyed and appreciated having her as his mother. They both had a lot of fun together going for coffee, eating at different restaurants and church dinners, and going fishing.
She has one son Robert Elwood, Jr. and had one sister Constance Kathleen Kinnamon (deceased) of Edina, Minn. and brother Jack Kinnamon (deceased) of Bloomfield.
Her final interment will be at the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Bloomfield at a later time.
Memphis Funeral Home of Memphis, Mo. is assisting the family.
