Nicholas “Nick” Christopher Miller, 22, of Pella, Iowa passed away on April 26, 2025 in Oskaloosa, Iowa. He was born on February 21, 2003 in St. Louis, Missouri to Christopher Wade Miller and Kylie Lea Miller. Nick graduated from Davis County High School in 2021 and then attended Northwest Iowa Community College where he graduated from the Powerline Technology program. He was currently employed with MidAmerican Energy as a lineman.
Nick enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He was an avid San Francisco 49ers and Iowa Hawkeye fan and spent many Saturdays tailgating in Iowa City. He also enjoyed golfing and listening to music. Nick was a hard worker and worked for many Davis County farmers during his high school days. He will be forever missed by his family and friends.
He is survived by his parents, Christopher and Amy Miller of Bloomfield, Iowa, Kylie and Lee White of Pleasant Hill, Iowa; siblings, Gracie Miller of Coralville, Iowa, Katie (Jacob Davidson) Selvy of Bloomfield, Sky (Dillan) Schrock of Oskaloosa, Iowa, Stephon Penberthy of Des Moines, Delaney White of Des Moines; grandparents, Doug and Becky Kinney of Waukee, Iowa, Bill and Linda Callen of Moulton, Iowa, Marc Miller of Bloomfield, Arvid Goettsche of Bloomfield; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by grandmothers, Dona Goettsche, Erma Kinney and grandparents, Don and JoAnn Grow.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, May 2, 2025 at the Wagler Funeral Home in Bloomfield with Pastor Don Naftz officiating. Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday with the family present to greet friends from 5-7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established to his family to be designated at a later date. Memorials may be left at the funeral home or mailed to: Nick Miller Memorial, 304 W.
