Dr. Bruce Elroy Lindberg, 66, of Ottumwa, died June 18, 2025 in Alabama.
He was born May 24, 1959 in Albia to Hjalmer August and Emma Josephine Kittle Lindberg. He married Deena Marie Anderson December 22, 1979.
A graduate of Albia Community High School, Bruce attended Indian Hills Community College in Centerville and Northeast Missouri State University in Kirksville. He earned a Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport.
Dr. Lindberg operated chiropractic offices in Albia, Centerville, Ottumwa for the majority of his career, and Fairfield, working alongside his brother and later his two sons.
He enjoyed memorizing scripture and sharing it with whomever would listen. Bruce also enjoyed bicycling and riding RAGBRAI, water skiing, spending time at the lake and snow skiing. He loved helping others and most importantly spending time with his family.
Surviving is his wife, Deena; their sons, Dr. Chad (Andrea) Lindberg and Dr. Cory (Holly) Lindberg both of Ottumwa; 10 grandchildren; a sister, Jolette (Don) Boyer of Chillicothe, MO; brothers, Brian (Barbara) Lindberg of Unionville, IA and Dr. Brent (Belinda) Lindberg of Bloomfield.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Colette Gaye Lindberg; and a niece, Brooklyn Lindberg.
Visitation with family present to greet friends will be from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday July 2nd at Reece Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Thursday July 3rd at Reece Funeral Home. Burial will be in Shaul Cemetery.
