WILLIS HOFFMAN
BLOOMFIELD-Willis Ward Hoffman, 76, of Bloomfield, died at 5:20 p.m. April 19, 2017 at the Good Samaritan Society-Ottumwa.
He was born September 4, 1940 in Ottumwa to Ward John and Merle Phillippe Hoffman. On June 24, 1961 he married Carol Crist.
A graduate of Fremont High School and Iowa State University, Willis taught Vocational Ag for 34 years at Davis County High School, retiring in 1996. He then worked for Performance Pipe, retiring in 2009.
Surviving is his wife Carol; his children, Colleen (Scott) Baird and Brian Hoffman both of Ottumwa, Douglas Hoffman of Round Lake, IL; two grandchildren, Kimberlee Baird and Justin Baird and a great-grandson, Emmett Ayala.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Reece Funeral Home with Pastor Jeremy Skinner officiating. Burial will be in the Floris Cemetery.
Visitation begins at 11 a.m. Friday with the family present from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Good Samaritan Society-Ottumwa.
