DINA ROUSH
ALBIA – Geraldine Ann “Dina” Roush, 58, of Albia and formerly of Fairfield, died at 11:30 p.m. August 24, 2017 at her home.
She was born July 11, 1959 in Iowa City to Jerry and Marjorie Kellogg Stommel. She married Dean Roush November 1, 1996.
A graduate of Ottumwa High School in 1979, she attended Indian Hills Community College. She had worked for Pamida in Ottumwa and Fairfield and for Parkview Care Center in Fairfield for over 20 years. She attended church in Abingdon.
Surviving is her husband, Dean; her mother, Marjorie Fisk of Ottumwa; a sister, Carol Brown (Alan Husinga) of Ottumwa; two brothers, Robert Stommel of Ottumwa and Roy (Stephanie) Stommel of Lincoln, NE; along with several nieces and nephews and her beloved dog, Lacey.
She was preceded in death by her father, Jerry Stommel; a sister, Margaret Lilly; a niece, Ericasue Smith; grandparents, Margaret and Louis Kellogg and Irene and Robert Stommel.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at Reece Funeral Home with Pastor Jim Shrimplin officiating. Burial will be in Service Chapel Cemetery near Albia.
Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. Monday with the family present from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday.
Memorials may be made to the family.
