JIM MCLURE
OTTUMWA – James “Jim” I. McClure, 66, of 2449 E. Main St. died at 10:23 p.m. December 18, 2017 at Hospice House in Ottumwa.
He was born January 7, 1951 in Ottumwa to Wallace M. and Eloise L. McCarty McClure.
A resident of Ottumwa all his life, he was a graduate of Ottumwa High School in 1969. Jim loved fishing and spending time with his family
Surviving is the love of his life, Carolyn Anders of Ottumwa; a son, Jim “JD” McClure; a step daughter, Kelli Anders (Jim) of Ottumwa; three grandchildren, Olivia Anders, Alexandra Perry and Tabitha McClure; two sisters, Marcy (Brent) Mock of Eddyville and Vicki Powers of Ottumwa; a brother, Wallace (Linda) McClure of Ottumwa.
He was preceded in death by his parents and infant brothers, David and Edwin McClure.
His body has been cremated.
Graveside services and inurnment will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Shaul Cemetery with Father Patrick Hilgendorf officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.
Reece Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
