Linda Moffatt, age 68, of Moravia, passed away Wednesday, September 5, 2018 at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines.
Linda was born on April 27, 1950, the daughter of Roy and Dorothy (Hously) Moffatt. She was a graduate of Moravia High School.
She loved animals, visiting with her friends, and spending time with her family. She was especially fond of listening to Elvis Presley’s music.
Left to cherish Linda’s memory are her brother, Carl Moffatt of Moravia; her sister, Sandy (Ferlin) LaRue of Missouri; a close friend, Betty Whicker of Moravia; five nieces and nephews, Keona Clark, Cory Clark, Ashley Moffatt, Mike Moffatt, and Sarah Howie; as well as many great nieces and nephews.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Dorothy Moffatt; and a brother, Francis Moffatt.
Cremation has been accorded. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 11:00AM, Saturday, September 22, 2018 at the Grace United Methodist Fellowship Hall in Moravia. Upon request from the family, please feel free to bring a side dish to share with others while they celebrate Linda’s life.
