Clareen (Claire) Joyce Byl, age 65 of Centerville, Iowa, passed into the arms of her heavenly Father on October 4th, 2016, after a courageous battle with breast cancer, at Mercy Health Hospice Center in Johnston, Iowa with her family by her side.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00PM, Saturday, October 8, 2016 Lange Funeral Home and Crematory in Centerville with Reverend Jeremy McElvain officiating. A visitation will be held on Friday, October 7, 2016 at Lange Funeral Home in Centerville, with family present from 6-8PM. There will be a private committal service held in Aplington, Iowa at Pleasant View Cemetery at a later time. Memorials have been established to either the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals or to the American Cancer Society, and may be mailed to Lange Funeral Home and Crematory, 1900 South 18th St. Centerville, Iowa 52544.
