Sandra Elizabeth Brown

Pastor Sandra Brown returned to her forever home on Saturday, April 12th, 2025. Sandra was born on January 18th, 1943 to SrMSgt Ret AF Frank and Florence Entriken in Greenville, MS.

Sandra was preceded in death by her parents who were formerly of Millbrook, AL. Sandra was also preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Kelly Brown on March 31st, 2013; Eldest son, Robert Frank Stewart; son, MSgt Kelly Brown USAf Ret; daughters, Marcelinda Elizabeth Kozura and Avonna Widner; grandchildren, Tristen Brown, Teren Brown, Joshua Jones, and Brandy Stewart.

Sandy is survived by 4 of her 8 children, Rick Stewart (Mary) of Lily, KY; Teresa Robbins of Boonvile, MO; Brian Brown (Ragena) of Mystic, IA; and Anita Kraviec (Jay MSgt Ret Af) of Harpster, OH. Sandy is also survived by her brother, MSgt Bob Entriken USAf Ret (Rhonda) of Lawrenceville, GA. Sandra was a grandmother to 17 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, and 1 great great granddaughter.

“Sandy” worked various jobs while raising 8 kids including bus driving, security dispatch in London, KY, and working respiratory therapy upon moving back to Unionville, MO in 1990 until her retirement. Sandy was a “Military Brat” coming from a military family. Four of her children served and one grandson MSgt USAf Rick Kozura currently serving. Sandy and Tom pastored at Stringtown Christian Church in Mendota, MO until Tom’s passing. Sandy’s favorite hobbies over the years were baking wedding cakes, gardening, quilting, and crafting.

Sandra leaves a legacy of patriotism, service, and Christian values. Her belief in Jesus Christ and her faith in his teachings led her to attend Word of Faith Bible College where she received her ordination as a minister alongside her husband, Tom.

Funeral Services for Sandy will be held at the Thomas Funeral Home in Unionville, MO on Wednesday, April 16th, 2025. Visitation will begin at 10:00am followed by her Funeral at 11:00am. Burial at the Chapel Cemetery in Livonia, MO to follow.

Memorials in Sandy’s honor may be made payable to Good Samaritan Hospice and entrusted to the Thomas Funeral Home, 709 S. 27th St., Unionville, MO 63565.
