Randy Conlin Mixon, 36, of Des Moines, Iowa, left us at Broadlawns Hospital due to heart failure on Friday, April 4, 2025.
Randy was born the only child of Nancy Michael “Mike” Mixon and Danny C. Mixon, Senior Chief Petty Officer, US Navy (retired) in Corydon on January 18, 1989. Raised in Corydon, he attended K-12 in Wayne Community Schools. In high school, Randy played football and wrestled. After moving to Des Moines in 2008 and attending DMACC, although he became a licensed welder, Randy spent most of his adult life on the road as a professional truck driver. His last position was with Koch Trucking, based out of Minneapolis.
Preceded in death by his mother, “Mike”, Randy is survived by his father, Danny.
A graveside service will be held Tuesday, April 22, 2025 at 1:00 pm at the Corydon Cemetery in Corydon, Iowa.
